PLEASE READ BELOW:

1. SOCKS adopts to families in Florida, Georgia, southern Alabama, and southeastern Mississippi. If you are out of the state of Florida, you would need to travel to Florida to complete your adoption. 

2. We do check vet references and your current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, and be able to provide proof of purchase of heartworm preventative. 

3. All dogs and cats in your home must be spayed or neutered. 

4. If we do not know a dog's history with children, we will not adopt to a family with young children.

5. Adoptions are not done on a first come first served basis. We will accept applications and then screen all and choose the best match. 

6. We will not set up meet and greets until you have an approved application. Transportation to a meet and greet is the responsibility of the potential adopter. 

7. ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED.

8. Fenced yards are mandatory for some of our dogs. If we indicate a fenced yard is mandatory and you do not have a fenced yard, we will dispose of your application. There are no exceptions.

Adoption Fees:

• 1 year and younger Cocker Spaniel: $500

• 1 year and younger mix: $325

• 13 months to 5 years old: $400

• 6 years to 9 years old: $350

• 10 years old and older: $250
